Short introduction
Carmen Nebel was born in Grimma in 1956. After he began as a broadcaster on the country television in GDR in 1984, he quickly became a favorite with the public with the first television program “sprungbrett”, where he introduced a young talent from GDR. For this program he also received “Fernsehlebleh” in 1989, a VIEWER AWARD for various television programs from GDR, which was awarded from 1963 to 1989.
Early life
Carmen Nebel initially graduated from extended high school in Grimma, one of the most traditional schools in Saxony. It was founded in 1550 by Duke Moritz from Saxony with the name “St. AugustinsgyMnasium Zu Grimma”, which now supports again.
After that he learned German, English, and pedagogy at the University of Berlin Humbold and worked as a teacher for Germany and England after his graduation. In 1979 he participated in the talent competition and then began a part-time career as a broadcaster on country television. In 1984 he finally gave up teaching him and dedicated himself exclusively for his television career.
After reunification, he moderates various music programs on the “Das Ernte” channel, “Mitteldeutscher rundfunk” and “Norddeutscher rundfunk”. Carmen Nebel was known throughout Germany in 1992 with the initial decision for the Eurovision de la Chanson Grand Prix (Eurovision Song Contest) with the title “Song for Malmo”, which he moderated at the City Hall in Magdeburg.
Career
Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson is the next step on the career ladder when he is a spokesman for the German jury on the 38th Eurovision song contest in Ireland in 1993. After this appearance, he finally arrived in the world of music entertainment programs. Between 1994 and 2003, he moderated a total of 46 editions of the “Die Feste Der Volksm” program, before Florian Silbeeisen took over from 2004.
From 2004 to 2019, he finally modulated his own performances at ZDF with the title “Willommen Bei Carmen Nebel”, where he spoke with a variety of guests from various genres of music, especially pop and pop music.
